He has managed over 20 projects during his professional carrier. He received his master's degree in forest management at the University of Tanjungpura.
He is the founder of Bentang Kalimantan Tangguh and has been the chairman of the Executive Board of Bentang since January 2022. He is also involved in project management as an independent consultant for IDH the sustainable trade initiative, and GIZ for REDD+ mitigation projects. He has made a remarkable contribution to REDD+ implementation at the sub-national level, developing jurisdictional strategy and action plan on REDD+, Forest Reference Emission Levels, Emission Reduction Intervention Strategies, and MRV reports. With his current capability, he is adept at conducting advanced spatial data analysis, especially in forestry and REDD+ issues, such as land-use/land-cover change analysis, land-use projection, deforestation/forest degradation analysis, and as baseline emission, emission reduction/removals analysis. By following his work environment, he also adopts a certain approach to ensure the analysis is proper to use at a broad level.
